One to seize the day, and make the most of it, Shruti loves filling her days with things she enjoys doing.

Thus, her decision to become an Educator, was a foregone outcome.

Teaching, her first love, takes priority; but Shruti equally spends time learning – trying to study something new – a skill, a new course or something inspirational.

Shruti firmly believes in and advocates the belief that each one of us is the master of her fate – but fate too, needs a roadmap.

So, her education to her students – while primarily related to the tenets and mechanics of English, also carries a healthy dose of activities aimed at character-building, bolstering self-confidence and the most important lesson – that each of us has the ability to excel (at whatever we set our heart to).

Drawing inspiration from her role as an educator, Shruti strives to impact each child’s life by helping them gain confidence through experiential learning, role plays and via mountains of encouragement. She is forever exploring ways to integrate education with interaction & activities, so as to make learning fun.

Even General Knowledge (the other subject she teaches), is brought to life by conversational explanations, show-and-tells and thus made into “fun learning”, rather than stock-teaching.

Outcome? Butterflies (from cocoons)!

Parents have come to appreciate Shruti’s style of teaching, and often comment on how their children have flowered in her tutelage.

Rather sought after by her wards, and their parents, this new-age teacher enjoys technology, fiction, drama and (don’t tell anyone) dancing.
